Karissa Giller, English Secondary Education
Karissa is currently a senior at UW-Madison finishing up a degree in Secondary English Education. She is currently full-time student teaching at La Follette High School in Madison, WI, and where she teaches English Honors 3 and creative writing. When she's not in the classroom, Karissa enjoys reading as much as possible, being outside (especially at The Terrace), cheering on her Badgers (how about that basketball team?), and spending time exploring the city with friends. After graduation, Karissa is undecided as to where she would like to teach, but has a feeling she'll be venturing out of Wisconsin eventually to see what she can see.
