New Resources to Check Out!

  • Focus on Early Childhood-Early Elementary: These ages don't often get as much attention when it comes to technology. Resources from a recent workshop are now available to guide your planning process for these younger kiddos.
  • New Video Resources: Video segments to support the process of peer mentorship are now available!
  • Our Teachology team recently had the chance to lead a podcasting workshop for C&I 975 Technology Integration for Teachers and Learners. Visit our Podcasting as Multimodal Composition page to explore the possibilities and get started on your own production!

Our Mission

Teachology's mission is really twofold: 1) to provide opportunities for preservice teachers to explore and design with technology in their classrooms, and 2) to provide our team members with important professional development and leadership experiences. Often, we are learning together as we navigate elements of professional learning that extend beyond methods courses and practicum placements. Throughout this site, you will find resources to support lesson design around technology integration, tools to reflect and analyze on your instructional planning, and tech tools, tips, and ideas for getting started in your own classroom!

Teachology is a great opportunity to grow not only your knowledge and experience with educational technologies, but to grow your resume and professional skill set through these unique opportunities. This year our team members have had the opportunity to:
  • design and run a one-day conference
  • create and lead conference sessions as professional speakers
  • collaborate on grant-writing  and presentation proposals
  • travel to attend conferences and speak at off-campus events
  • join professional organizations
